NEET UG 2026 Syllabus Announced by NMC: An Important Update for the Aspirants.
The National Medical Commission has finally released the NEET UG 2026 syllabus. This is good news for students seeking admission in MBBS and BDS courses because now they have clarity. Since the syllabus is available well in advance, aspirants can start or continue their preparation with a clear and focused approach.
There is no change in the syllabus for NEET 2026.
According to the official notification, the syllabus of NEET UG 2026 remains the same as in previous years. No addition or deletion has been made in any subject of NEET UG. This is a piece of good news for students as they can stick to their study plan without any apprehension about deleted or added topics.
How to Access Official Syllabus
The official NEET UG 2026 syllabus has been available for download as a PDF on the official website of the NMC. It comprises a detailed, chapter-wise syllabus from Class 11 and Class 12 NCERT textbooks related to all subjects covered under the examination.
Topics Covered Under Syllabus
The syllabus still covers most of the central notions from:
Physics: Laws of motion, thermodynamics, optics, electricity, magnetism, and modern physics.
Chemistry: The candidate will be expected to know the concepts of physical chemistry, organic chemistry, and inorganic chemistry taught at Classes 11 and 12.
Biology: Botany and Zoology chapters on cell biology, genetics, human physiology, ecology, and biotechnology.
Students are advised to be mainly dependent on NCERT textbooks as it provides the base for the NEET examination.

Yes. For every incorrect answer, one mark is deducted, while four marks are awarded for each correct response. No marks are deducted for unanswered questions.
